BLOG#10 "Chapters 21 & 23"
Applying yourself to prepare for college finals can time consuming and stressful, if you fail to manage your time wisely. I perceive finals as a method to determined whether you are qualified to elevate to the next level. If not, then who is to say that you put good time and effort towards accomplishing passing the course. Who ever said anything worth fighting for would be easy? If you study smart enough, keep up with class, do your class work and homework ( whew ! ) then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Studying with others can be useful, but me personally, I don't go out of my way begging people to be my friend. I simply go to the learning center to get extra help from a tutor if and when I desire it ( chuckles ). My favorite quote from chapter 21 reads: "The trick is to be honest to yourself". I agree, you must gather up the information that you know, figure out where you are lacking, and find some time to study. I always say, "stop denying yourself and start applying yourself". In chapter 23, I agree with the tips giving as well. A great shower and a good night can help relax that mind, body and soul. Preparing yourself with the utensils you need is always a plus. I remember the times when I was late for exams, I was missing my pens, pencils, etc. Now I look back and say to myself, what was the purpose of going to take that exam? But now, I've developed a more mature mentality and outlook on life. I plan to organize myself and focusing more on my priorities. Going over your course syllabus is a great way for you to remain on top of your game. Finding out as much information is a great way to improve your concentration. Repetition, repetition, and more repetition is a great way to get familiarize yourself and not waste your tuition (L O L).

Art can be the quality, production, expression, or realm of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.
This written work is a tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci, born on April 15, 1452. He was one of the greatest painters of the Italian Renaissance, yet he left only a handful of completed paintings. His famous paintings where, Mona lisa, and The Last Supper. He was a gentle vegetarian who loved animals and despised war, yet he worked as a military engineer to invent advanced and deadly weapons. Leonardo was one of the great geniuses in history. But he was also very much a product of his time, and that time was Renaissance Italy. The Renaissance began in Italy nearly six hundred years ago, in the early fourteen hundreds. Renaissance means "rebirth." This rebirth refers to the fact that artists and scientists rediscovered the knowledge of ancient Greece and Rome, which had been lost to them for a thousand years. They applied this classical knowledge to their own investigations of the natural world and of human kind.
Perhaps the most significant change that took place during the Renaissance was a shift in the way Europeans looked at the world. They no longer relied only on the knowledge they received from the church or from the past. They put their faith above all in what they themselves observed. This passion for observing the natural world in order to learn its secrets is what characterizes Leonardo's genius more than anything else. Leonardo was what I call “Super human” He left behind such a prominent legacy that made a great impact on my life.

Blog #7 "Chapter 12 & Chapter 15" Silence & Notes.
Applying the mind to acquiring knowledge can be extremely challenging. Especially if you are in a environment where there are many distractions such as television, internet, and cell phones usage. My study habits were undeniably poor, and I was easily distracted by myspace, youtube, facebook, and now twitter. However, the moment my reality set in, there has a sudden change. I realized that you have to work hard if you want to live the quote on quote "GOOD LIFE" more money, food, close, cars, and more options. With that being said, I relocated from Harlem NYC, to New Jersey, to an environment where I can study more with less distractions. I found both chapters 12 and 15 to be exceedingly useful. These two chapters, taught me more about myself. I learned to accept responsibilities, and not denying myself but applying myself. From this moment on, I'm going to have a "start and finish time" for all my homework assignments, so that way, I can get my work done, and still have time to enjoy my life. My life is my purpose for coming to college and there for, my life will be the purpose of why I must study to gain and obtain the success that I desired. I've always been a great listener, so chapter 15 and I clicked very well. smiles. With no intentions on sounding oblivious, I find this book called "College Rules" to work for me like a manual to life. It keeps me focus, and constantly improving my work habits. At this moment, I am now developing the mind frame of a winner, and I will continue to do everything in my power to excel and NOT fail. "If it don;t make progress, then it don't make sense"

This blog is called "Life Of A Rapper" and It's meant to cause laughter. (lol) I used this fun application called Comic Life to create comics out of my images. BLOG #5 How Do You Plan To Manage Your Time Better.
Detailed proposals are of no importance without the motivation and inspiration to proceed towards accomplishing your goals. It is of great significance that you make a list of things that you need to do each day and discipline your self to get these things done. As i was bringing this blog into existence check out this video that i discovered. It's called Time management and the 80-20 rule.
From this day on, I will apply myself with the information giving from this video. I plan on making a list of priorities and finding the motivation i need so i can stay focus. I'm going to set goals and let my goals be my motivation to get focus and take school serious, because nothing in this world comes easy. You have to work real hard to attain a good life. "If it don't make progress, then it don't make sense"

BLOG # 3 Using The Internet As A Learning Resource
The Internet network has to be the most powerful resource of all time. It allows you to go online and search for information on absolutely anything in the world. Its simple. All you have to do is open up a web browser, I highly recommend "GOOGLE" just type in the name of what you are looking for and I guarantee some information will pop up and help you find what it is that you are searching for.
I'm a full time student at T.C.I College. My first class of the week is Computer 101 and a site that I use to help me learn more information about computers is called www.everymanit.com It basically gives you a great amount of useful information on computers. Another site I use for my computer class is called "www.gcflearnfree.org/Computer/" it gives you great useful information as well such as the basics of a computer, etc.
On Tuesday. It's Math, "The Basics Of Algebra" This site is like my own personal tutor. (Chuckles) It gives me basic information on algebra. I like it because it is solid information that is straight to the point, and then I can move on to my other assignments. Another helpful site for Algebra class is "Basic Algebra" Again, this time with a different content as you see . (Smiles) work work work, making progress!
On Wednesdays, I have art class, I'm usually browsing through this site called "Adobe Illustrator" tutorial. It displays a brief run down on how to use adobe photo shop etc. Another interesting site is "www.Picnik.com" which allows you to edit, cut & paste images, add cool fonts to your photo's etc.
Recurrently On Thursdays, I have math Algebra again (Smiles) followed by my major class MAJ102 with Ms Julia Hutchinson as our instructor. Believe it or not, one site that can use for help is my "twitter account" because I am following many different digital companies with a variety amount of helpful digital resources. Another site every useful for our "D.M.A class" which features our student course syllabus with A blue print of the assignments expected and collected through out the semester.
Last but not on Friday, I have a English class for basic reading skills. A interesting site that I use for help in English class is called "www.ehow.com" it basically helps me with creative steps and ways to improve my reading skills, and test taking formulas. Another helpful site is called "www.dictionary.com" and I use it just in case I don't understand the meaning of a word, it gives me clarity.
I have an IPhone, so I download different applications so that I can still study while I'm on the go. I Love The Internet !

BLOG #2 - Chaper 1 & 2 "The Big Time. Life Adjustments"s
Having knowledge of perception that college is different from high school. I proceeded with an idea of the sacrifices that comes with being a T.C.I savvy grade A student in order to earn my degree in Digital Media. Since my enrollment in T.C.I, i relocated from Harlem to New Jersey. It may seem illogical, but i needed to relocate in order to surround myself with people with similar responsibilities who will encourage, and help motivate me to stay focused and so i can succeed in life. Another challenging sacrifice i had to make, was to take time off my ladies. Smiles. The women who i deeply adore like money to the poor or a kid who explore through a candy store. Chuckles. I'm also A inspiring Rap artist who goes by the name "MARV MILLY" I wanna be A Actor, and i have my very own recording studio to feed my dreams by any means.
I find myself prioritizing and minimizing my recording and mixing time, so i can study and focus more on school work. I learned that time management is in a high degree of significance. My life style can be very busy, but I'm learning how to prioritize better and apply a strong effect at meeting my instructors requirements. It's a sort sacrifice but it is undeniably worth it. All my detailed proposals are being taking serious and i plan to come to class everyday, study everyday, and make a habit of bettering my educational skills because education is the key to success. My Name Is Marvin David, I Was Born In American, And Raised In Harlem NYC. My Parents Are From Central America, So That Makes Me A Huge Fan Of Diversity. Since A Toddler I've Been Forced To Develop The Mind frame Of A Winner By Setting Goals And Accomplishing Them 1By1. Sticking To The Script, I Was Soon To Discover My Hidden Gift Which Was Being Able To Write And Perform Hip Hop & R&B Music. That Is When I Attracted A Likeness In Digital Media. Trying To Keep Up With The following That I've Gained Through Out The Years Can Be A Hands Of Responsibilities, And I Didn't Wanna Be Depending Of Others. So I Decided To Come To College And Further My Education So That When I Graduated, I Can Build A Career Doing What I Love, And Then It Wouldn't Seen As Work, Rather The Perfect Life.
